Oglala Tribal Offenders Facility
Project Description: This facility includes a large circular office area, exercise facilities, classrooms, with minimum and maximum security detention areas. There are 11 holding cells and 25 inmate sleeping areas with day rooms. This large project was constructed on an outlying area of the Pine Ridge Reservation, with no existing infrastructure. The owner initiated multiple additions to the facility that involved a paved access road to the site, along with a water and sewer system that required a pumping station, storage tank, and a major lift station. The project remained under budget and on schedule.
