Rapid City Regional Airport Expansion
Project Description: This project entailed a major renovation and expansion of Rapid City's Regional Airport Terminal Building. After 23 years, nearly every square foot of the airport's interior was updated. The new facility serves as a gateway to our area and now runs more efficiently than ever. Features of the project include a rooftop patio, expanded security, and a separate wing to house the rental car offices

Fountain Springs Community Church Addition
Project Description: As Church membership has grown rapidly, Fountain Springs looked to Scull Construction to help expand its facilities. The new addition added about 10,000 square feet to the church and provides its parishioners new classrooms and community space. Along with the added learning space the facility has a new kitchen, nursery, and an elevator to service the full basement. The added space allowed for the existing sanctuary to be expanded into areas previously used for Sunday school.

SD Game Fish & Parks Outdoor Campus
Project Description: This headquarters and learning center sits on a 40-acre site that boasts trails, wetlands, stream, pond, archery range, and other recreation areas. Outdoor and classroom activities will abound at the facility to promote understanding of our natural surroundings. This will be GF&P's main facility in western South Dakota.

Belle Fourche City Hall
Project Description: A new city hall for the City of Belle Fourche sits right on the banks of the Belle Fourche River. The facility is home to city employees and administrative offices. The two- story structure is anchored by a beautiful lobby with large windows and views of the river. Modern city council chambers, conference rooms, and meeting facilities serve the entire community.
Dahl Arts Center
Project Description: The expansion and remodel of the Dahl Arts facility, is a major win for the local arts community. This challenging project included the remodel of 2 existing facilities while connecting them to create one building. The existing Dahl building spaces were renovated and enlarged, and the adjacent MDU building underwent a complete transformation to accommodate classrooms and galleries. The facility gained 10,850 square feet in space during the expansion. The construction and remodel was delivered in three parts with overlapping start and completion dates to accommodate the Dahl staff and events. The result is one facility that can offer the community more classes, entertainment, and displays.
Rapid City Block 75 Parking Garage
Project Description: J. Scull Construction crews carefully coordinated the addition of a third level to an existing parking structure. The construction was conducted above the existing Block 75 parking garage while keeping the structure accessible to the public. The project is constructed primarily of pre-cast concrete with a cast-in-place concrete topping. The pedestrian paths and stairways were upgraded and pigeon deterrence measures were installed to provide a cleaner environment.

Pennington County Event Center
Project Description: The largest pre-engineered clear span structure in the area, this year-round arena is used by the Central States Fair, 4-H Clubs, and a variety of public events. The interior slab on grade concrete floors with a pre-cast concrete bleacher system, includes a concession area, bathrooms and ticket counters. The foundation consists of approximately 115-drilled concrete piers and grade beams.

SuAnne Big Crow Boys & Girls Club
Project Description: This modern, functional Boys & Girls Club in Pine Ridge has a full gymnasium, Olympic-sized pool, administrative offices and conference rooms. This project was strongly supported by its community. We worked well with the owner, the National Boys and Girls Club, Inc. and the Rural Development facilities, and we are pleased to have been a part of bringing this outstanding facility to Pine Ridge. All hiring for J. Scull Construction's labor was done through the local Tribal Employment Rights Office. Fifty percent of all subcontractors used on the project were disadvantaged businesses. Ninety percent of all subcontractors and suppliers were small businesses.
