School Construction Continues

The construction of Rapid City’s fifth middle school continues to progress toward a fall 2012 opening date. The large facility will have 145,000 square feet under its roof to serve the needs of 600 students plus staff and support.
East Middle School sits on the east side of the Black Hills and will be the largest middle school in the region. J. Scull Construction is the contractor on the project. Constructing schools is a strong suit of the South Dakota construction firm, and its number of school projects cannot be matched by many in South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, or North Dakota.
