Box Elder Growing
August 30, 2011![]()
The residents of Box Elder will soon be getting a new City Hall building to serve them. The 20,000sf facility will be built with tilt-up concrete panels that are cast on site, and will contain all City administration functions, community center, as well as a Police Station.

The leadership of the town hopes to create a new city center around the facility that will have adjacent retail establishments, pond, and a park. “This project will give Box Elder a community gathering place, and will give them a good starting point to create more community and economic activity in the growing city”, says Andy Scull, project manager for South Dakota General Contractor J. Scull Construction. “We are going to give them a first-rate commercial building.”
Commercial construction in South Dakota remains steady. With the knowledge of their project managers and the expertise of their crews, Scull has remained one of the top general contractors in the western South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming region.
